VEKA Softline 76 MD profiles have one of the slightly smaller installation depths – 76 mm. However, this practically does not affect their energy efficiency. A window with these profiles can have a heat transfer coefficient Uw of 0.82 W/m²K using a glazing unit with Ug=0.5 and a warm frame. The profile itself has a heat transfer coefficient Uf=1.1 W/m²K.
Closed profile with external walls 3 mm thick (with a maximum deviation of only +- 0.2 mm), meets the requirements of the PN-EN 12608 standard for the highest quality profiles.
VEKA Softline 76 MD profiles have a multi-chamber structure – 5 chambers are located in the frame profile, 5 chambers in the sash profile.
The frame and sash assembly in the Softline 76 MD system has a height of 122 mm. However, it may be different in the case of large dimensions of the structure, specific static requirements, special location in the building and the resulting need to select appropriate profiles.
Double and triple glazing units can be used for glazing. Softline 76 MD profiles allow for the installation of glazing units with a thickness of 18 to 48 mm. Thanks to the glazing unit being embedded in the profile to a depth of 25 mm, the phenomenon of glass condensation is limited. Thermal insulation and burglary resistance of the windows are also increased.
Softline 76 MD profiles have a system of external seals and an additional central seal, which increases protection against noise and cold penetration.
